Welcome to the page for 'Friends of the Festival' – supporters who would like to help the Admiral Mumbles Mostly Jazz & Blues Festival become the best boutique Spring festival in Wales and the UK.

The first three years of the festival have brought such musical luminaries to Mumbles as Ben Castle, Snake Davis, the unforgettable Blues Band and the mighty Laurence Cottle Big Band. And this year we look forward to more great music from the likes of the BBC Big Band and The Hamsters.

We have ambitious plans to develop the festival over the next four years (2008–11), attracting exciting international performers year on year from the worlds of jazz and blues. Our plans include steadily improving the audience and visitor facilities so that ever larger numbers come to Mumbles to experience its unique location and family-friendly amenities.

For a membership fee of only £10, when you register as a Friend of the Festival you will receive flyers alerting you to new developments at the festival and a free ticket to The Amigos gig on Monday May 5, 2008, which will include a special Friends pre-concert reception where you will enjoy a glass of wine while meeting the six Amigos in person.

From 2009 onwards Friends of the Festival will also be entitled to receive advance notice of the festival programme and the opportunity to purchase tickets before the programme is announced to the general public.
