Friday 2nd May, 8–11.15pm (Oliver Nezhati set 8–9pm), in the Marquee Pavilion
20-year-old saxophonist Oliver Nezhati is from Llandeilo and has been making quite a name for himself over South Wales these past couple of years. He is currently studying for a jazz saxophone masters degree course at London's prestigious Trinity College. He has already performed with such jazz luminaries as Steve Waterman and Alan Barnes, along with appearances at various South Wales jazz clubs and the Brecon Jazz Festival.
Oliver's sextet contains some of the best young jazz musicians in the UK. They are all currently studying jazz at Trinity College London. The band also includes pianist Mitch Jones, who is from Pontardulais.
